CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS

For both the students and the teacher

1. Treat others the way you want to be treated

We all want to be treated with respect and kindness so let's try our best to practice these qualities. All of us are coming into our classroom with various differences such as our cultures, beliefs, ideas, the way we live, and much more. Remember, no one likes being treated poorly.

2. "The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today" -H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

No one likes rushing into a room without being prepared! Make sure that you walk in with your best confidence, ready with your class materials to ask questions, offer comments, and help your peers out. If you do not have your materials or don't feel prepared for the day, no worries! Make sure to let Mrs. Park know and she will be ready to help you :)

3. Self care is self love

All of us have various roles in our life. Some of you are working, taking care of your family, doing sports, attending school clubs, volunteering, and much more after school. It is crucial that you get enough sleep, eat and exercise regularly, and drink lots of water. These are the most underlooked but the most crucial steps to becoming successful. If there is anything that hinders you from taking care of yourself, please let Mrs. Park and she will try her best to help you.

3. Have fun!

Last but not the least, have fun! You don't always have to come into my classroom full of joy and excitement, although I would love you to, but we are all humans after all. We have some things we find happiness in and some that are purely tedious. Make sure that you take some time to smile, do your hobbies, and learn more about the world around you!
